“Light of a Clear Blue Morning” was written and recorded in 1977 by American entertainer Dolly Parton (b. 1946). This arrangement is by Craig Hella Johnson, founder and artistic director of the Grammy-award winning ensemble Conspirare. In their 2022-23 season, the Halifax Camerata Singers will perform Johnson’s 2016 oratorio, Considering Matthew Shepard.
